Tyndale 1536 is a trilogy documentary and the first film in our brand new library of faith films. It is also part of a larger series called "The Reformers" which tells the amazing stories of the men of faith in the 15th century Europe who loved the Catholic church, but demanded reform from its traditions and laws. Only later did it become one of the biggest movements Christianity has ever seen. These stories are not about division, but passion and courage to face danger when hope is dim. Our first film in the trilogy of Tyndale 1536 is "Episode 1: A Light in the Darkness", which explores the beginning of William Tyndale's story. It follows his early life, education and hopes to translate the bible for the Catholic church with diplomacy and integrity, however, this is not how the story goes. Tragedy strikes, and he is forced to become a vagabond in a foreign land. Episode two will draw the crescendo of his plan and highlight the miracles he encountered. Then closing with episode three, which will be the conclusion of Tyndale's short life ending in a horrific sacrifice for love.
