In Sanctum, players navigate a dangerous world of political intrigue, supernatural forces, and desperate survival. Your choices shape the fate of alliances, cities, and the unseen powers moving behind the veil. Built on a fast, tactical dice system where Stars of Fire ignite miracles and Dragons unleash catastrophe, Sanctum blends strategic combat, character-driven storytelling, and a living world that reacts to your decisions.

NO.1

THE RISING STORM

In Epoch One, tensions rise in a world that still appears mostly familiar. Trade routes hum, cities bustle, and nations posture for advantage—but rumors spread of strange phenomena, secret technologies, and powers that should not exist. Beneath the surface, something vast is moving.
 

NO.2

THE SIXTH SEAL

Something strange emerges. The balance of the world breaks. Nations fracture, ancient powers and beasts awaken, and survival itself becomes uncertain as the true scale of the crisis begins to reveal. Time moves faster, and the story meets new problems though players become stronger.

NO.3

THE BLACK SUN

The future of the all will be decided. Alliances will rise or fall, hidden truths will come to light, and the choices made throughout the journey will have everlasting consequences. Meet horror unlike you have ever seen and be surprised by the final plot twists that nod to the Book of Revelation.

CHRISTIAN FOUNDATIONS

Sanctum was created by Christians and is deeply influenced by biblical themes and worldview. Players who are familiar with Scripture may recognize echoes of stories, symbols, and spiritual ideas woven throughout the setting. Concepts like covenant, stewardship, temptation, faithfulness, and redemption appear in the world not as sermons, but as living tensions within the story.

Sanctum aims to create space for thoughtful storytelling where faith, morality, and the unseen spiritual world can be explored with depth and imagination.

 

You do not need to be Christian—or religious at all—to enjoy Sanctum. At its core, Sanctum is a tactical role-playing game about exploration, survival, and meaningful choices in a mysterious world. Players can engage with the setting at whatever level they choose: as a strategic combat game, a political drama, or a story about hope in a fractured world. The table is open to anyone who enjoys rich world-building, challenging decisions, and cooperative storytelling.

OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Sanctum is built on the belief that stories matter. The game invites players to wrestle with difficult choices, explore the consequences of power, and discover what kind of people they want their characters to become. In a world filled with uncertainty, Sanctum asks a simple question: What will you stand for when the truth begins to reveal itself? Beneath Sanctum’s political struggles and survival challenges lies a deeper mystery.

The world is not only physical. There are unseen forces at work. Actions matter. And the struggle between truth and corruption plays out not just on battlefields, but in the hearts of individuals and nations. Sanctum draws inspiration from themes of faith, redemption, temptation, and sacrifice—without forcing players into a single interpretation. Most RPG campaigns drift endlessly. Sanctum is designed to tell a complete story. Over the course of roughly ten in-game years, the campaign moves through three Epochs as the world changes dramatically around the players. By the end, the group will have shaped the future of the world—one way or another. Then the story concludes. And a new one can begin.




 


 

 

For more than a year and a half, Sanctum has been shaped through careful research, deliberate design, and mindful testing at the table. What exists now is a living framework—refined through play, observation, and steady iteration. Players who wish to step inside its earliest form are invited to follow our exclusive community, where BETA documents, play materials, and ongoing updates are shared as the world continues to take shape.
