Tame the Tongue

"Let your words be rivers of life, not sparks of destruction.”

James 3 warns that the tongue is small but mighty—like a spark that can set a whole forest ablaze. It reminds us that words have the power to heal or to harm, to bless or to curse. If your heart is full of wisdom and humility, your speech will reflect it.

💡 Life Application:

Before you speak (or post, text, or vent), pause and ask: “Is this pure, peace-loving, considerate, and full of mercy?”

Train your tongue to build others up, not tear them down. Speak like someone who carries the Holy Spirit.
